Buzz Bernard takes you on a day-by-day journey
through SUPERCELL!
Buzz Bernard is giving us a unique perspective of
his new novel, SUPERCELL, by doing a journal entry for each day experienced in
the book on his Facebook Author Page link
to my FB author page. Doing short entries and adding pictures, the book
comes to life in your head. From Gabi’s debilitating migraines to what their
truck would have looked like after the tornado they go through, you feel like
you know the characters and sense the reality of it all.
With the tremendous amount of tornadoes (over 150) we
experienced in the Midwest last week, this hits home. Keep up with all of them
and read the book! Nominated for Georgia Author of the Year (awards ceremony June
7th, Kennesaw State College). www.buzzbernard.com
An example:
The previous day,
Chuck’s chase team had an unprecedented encounter. It put one of their film
trucks into the automotive ER. Here’s the SUPERCELL “journal” entry for May 2:
--THURSDAY, MAY 2
--THURSDAY, MAY 2
THE OWNER OF the Tulsa body shop where the damaged camera truck had been towed came out of the garage area shaking his head. “REDACTED--SPOILER, you said?”
“Yeah,” Chuck answered. He could read in the guy’s acne-scarred face that he wasn’t the bearer of good news.
“Never heard of that happening before. Anyhow, it’s gonna be about a week before we can get that rig patched up and aligned and everything else.”--
